These days I have written so much of the atrocities going on in Somalia. To some it must be an uncomfortable read, but I have a reason to write and expose what interest groups would like to hide behind the tongues. So please pardon me. We have merchants of death in Somalia
Who sentenced all somalis to death
The food they import is unfit it for human consumption
The medical supplies are expired or out of date
Many a child lost life with these items
Miscarriage among women is a common problem
Here people are treated as if they are not people
And people can not claim to be people
Unless they stand up for their rights
Fighting for rights is a duty everyone should undertake

This has been going on for ages and not only in Somalia. Such atrocities are proof of a decadent society aiming at making money, whatever the cost. Victor
Abdinoor, please continue writing about problems facing People in Somalia. It is really informative and makes a lot of sense to all of us. In my case, I am a Somali but I have not seen Somali for 16 years. You are my unbiased link between myself and my lovely country Somalia.
By the way, the poet is the social advocate in our culture. Continue condemning atrocities and praising progress in Somalia.

you are absolutely right, Abdi-Noor. Regarding the discomfort readers might feel about works such as this, you must realize that there is beauty to be found within these verses...your heart. You care enough to tell the world about these inhumanities...what is not beautiful about that?
