It`s a beautiful poem. It`s just a co-incidence that I have expressed very similar thoughts in my article," Different Colors of Fall". I will appreciate if you read it and let me have your comment.

Very colourful indeed. Lead a colorful life forever brother. I am happy that you don't just see the negative side of life of Mogadishu. The city is also surrounded by all those beautiful things in this poem birds, flowers, bees, oceans, butterflies, the fresh unpolluted air etc. I love Mogadishu, the city I was born in. Not all people have access to all the beauty at your reach for free.
Precious hope lives in your colorful words, (((Abdi-Noor))); thank you for the reminder to stop and enjoy the small things, the blessings God gives us. Well done, my (((friend))).
These things are all the messages of hope, Abdi-Noor. We allow ourselves to get so bogged-down by the negativity of the world that we miss the blessings that have been set for us. When things in my life seem dank and hopeless, I close my eyes and see myself sitting on the side of a mountain, hearing the whisperings of the wind through the mighty trees, looking out onto the vastness that is our world and I realize that while I am responsible for my own happiness, The Creator has presented me with all the hope and beauty I need to make that happiness my reality. This is one of the most inspiring poems I have ever read, Abdi-Noor, and your words flow in such a way that they set a mood of thankfulness.
Take care,
Sherry
Abdi-Noor,
Beautiful poetry of the simple things in life. I try not to take anything for granted Abdi. All of these things you mentioned, the flowers, a birds melody, the smile on a babys face...all of these things are gifts from God and don't cost us anything. Thank you for sharing this with us. EXCELLENT!!!!!
