Some families from Africa still want to circumcise their daughters in Europe or America but Female Genital Mutilation FGM is a crime in the developed nations.
Let's remove these straight jackets
And start respecting other cultures
No way can we continue FGM practice
As cutting is a crime in this country
Let's swim in the ocean of community integration
Lest we are left behind in an island of backwardness
With the power of knowledge and education
Let’s break the chains of cultural barbarism
FGM is a backward practice that inficts harm on females both th short term and in the long run. It is one of the traditional acts that we should stop for good reasons.
However, I do not beleive in total integration to the western lifestyles. They are full of negative practices.
