Inspired by Anneth, my Swedish language teacher, when she rose this morning from the east with a smiling face beaming like a Spring Sun.

From a horizon of hope she rises
Shining in the alleys of my heart
Delightfully soothing my feelings
As her light streaks into my soul

From a horizon of hope she rises
Glowing in the depth of my wits
Ecstatically touching me inside
As she lifts my spirits pleasantly

From a horizon of hope she rises
Gleaming in the core of my mind
Blissfully shimmering in my heart
As she strikes me with rays of joy
