I feel a bitter anguish over the stoning to death of a 13 year old girl in Somalia yesterday. I could not read the stories published in the international media outlets because of the "high degree of horror" contained in the news. So I am shuttling between the edges of my dreams to come up with something that can show my feeling against the "Gardheere" (Long bearded) groups of Islamic courts clerics who recaptured some parts of Somalia from the joint Government and Ethiopian army but imposing strict Unholy rules that are barbaric in nature and anti Islamic in content. So my poetry is still not hitting the nail on the head because of my not reading these stories of the stone-killings. I´m just fumbling around, begging my muse to help me.

A naked man has nothing to hide
Somalia has no secrets to keep
It is like a winter tree on a hill
Stripped to the its foundation
With its dignity strewn underneath
Like the dead leaves of the autumn

It is like an innocent man in a court
Run by non-God-Fearing Gardheere
Who hide behind the verses of Koran
But come out only when a plot is ripe
Bathing in the blood of the innocent
And dry up with the towels of hatred
As they nod to each other in admiration
Somalia is like that man in the court
peering through the holes of his fears
Wishing help to descend upon him
But only finds horror striking him in full swing

We are bereaving for the loss of our mother
Who have been stoned to death yesterday
By a group called themselves The Islamists
But act in the most unislamic way possible
Taking orders from the devil to seek power
Misinterpreting the Rules of Allah in His book
Defying His instructions with great impunity
