The deeper the sea of ideas the longer the shoreline of mediocrity but there is always an island of peace where you can retreat to avoid strife. And that safety spot is within you: Your Heart. Rinse your mind with waters of love and let it proceed with its plans of working for the future, never looking back to please the enemy. Let them disappear in the trail of dust you leave behind. I assume that all of us expreience such situations more often than not.

My Little Idea, My little baby
Out of Love you were conceived
In the land of joy you were born
You bubbled deep from my heart
But you are at risk dear baby
Beware of the dagger of mediocrity
It shines in the dark
Sharp at both edges
Brandished by the weak
Who hides behind his fears
Lurking in the alleys of evil
Awaiting for a moment to strike
Wishing to bury a dagger
Between the blades of your soul
Beware my little baby

The work of the enemy is always present in many forms & your words poetically warn of these vile intrusions from those hindered trespassing souls of "The Dagger of Mediocrity"
Why could they not eat off the plate of idividuality from the cup of their own curiosity through the inspirations of positivity? I agree with Georg!! Enjoyed reading your poem

In today's world the most dangerous thing to be holding is an idea.
Nicely done, brother-
