Poem Artwork

I step around a corner – disappearing from view
I step into a shadow – viewing the unknown
I step into the night – unknown mysteries unfold
I step into day – unfolding the dramas of my life
I step into the past – life beckons forgotten pain
I step into the future – pain recedes from love

Life has so many steps – I try to take them all at once
Viewing all my options, while facing the unknown
Embracing life’s mysteries, despite being overwhelmed
And when I have a few free moments
I'll dream about you. Loving when I can -
and loving when I can’t, but always stepping up

That's a good thing to do. Always stepping up, looking forward, not regretting the past, but curiously awaiting the future. What we expect least, might happen someday.

Sara, a very well-written inspiring composition, my friend. Hopefully one will always put one foot in front of the other, and face whatever obstacles are thrown in their path. lol at Andy’s misfortunate step. Thanks for sharing your wisdom and insightful thoughts. Keep on keeping on! Take care and be well.

I like the assured, boyant, optimistic feel to these words.......
Pow.....they explode straight from your heart!
Sincerity, totally above board........self acknowledgment at its finest........
U must have felt refreshed writing this.......I know I would have, if it was from my own hands & heart.........
:)
be well Sara.........pax A

You have the right outlook on life, keep stepping up. Or, as Credence Clearwater Revival said in their song by the same name, "Keep on Chooglin'" Nice poem and if Andy would pay attention instead of trying to think up poems as he walked, he wouldn't have stepped in whatever it was he stepped in. Huh?
