Poem Artwork

just let me lie down next to you
my head is feeling so, so heavy
and my heart just isn’t right
I can only take so much pain
only so many times
until I just can’t take it anymore
so let me rest here for a while
with my head floating on your chest
where my heart can heal its aches
as I nestle in your arms
and let time be our friend
stretching a moment indefinitely
into a never ending future
of happy returns

Sara, it't times like this that heals the wounds of every day living. The more of these moments we stretch, the stronger and healthier we become.
Excellent write from your heart.

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
