In troubled times, I use this hockey goalie mask of protection

I will lend it to you if you ever find yourself in a predicament

Where life’s challenges are pressuring your very inner soul

It might help; it keeps me grounded and whole

When evil spirits try to hold me down

And chain my freewill and spirit to the ground

I hope it works for you it does a magical wonder for me

And really helps me open my eyes and see

When they are closed to the true nature of things

Like when eagles fly through the sky, and dolphins sing

Give it a try that’s all I ask of you today

If you prefer not to experiment I won’t be mad if you go your own way

Just my nature to try to help my fellow human being when they need some good kind love

And shed some light in those dark corners of this mysterious world

Don’t worry it should fit you too

It might not be brand new

But it works like a fine tuned machine

Strong, steady, and clean

Repelling those pesky pests that like to crawl inside your brain

Right before a Nor Eastern New England rain

After you feel okay, and ready to tackle a brand new day
