Just drifting through the empty space of time

Living in the moment where no one treads to lie

Ghosts from my past and shadows from my future arise

Thinking about the small things that express no cry

Spent too much time lately on the heavy weight of life’s sty  

Just need to take a break and readjust my tie

See the wonders of nature, and god’s own design

Walk through the forest, and hike the mountain’s high

Talk to a stranger, visit a few friends, family, and a lover by the fire

Our time on planet earth is way to too short and then we die

So I just want to take the time to drift through the subtle mire

Listen to the music, swim in the ocean, and eat vegetarian desires  

Live a simple existence, show respect, and be friendly for awhile

Rest my mind from the digital internet web of social network wires

Regroup, and come back stronger in mind, body, and spiritual attire

These are just a few subtle moods of the moment in present time.
