This disease film flashes across my fragile mind somehow

Originating from a source unknown to vultures who prowl

Tortured both day and night I want to scream and howl

My sensitive heart bleeds thoughts in the present crazy and foul

Could it be worse than what appears to reflect in the now? 

The seconds linger on as my body drowns

In memories of the past of laughing clowns

I dream in the future distance about some peaceful town

A beautiful girl, of style and renown

A quiet space without a sound

Where we can lie on the lush green ground

But first I must find a way around

These demons that cling to my soul that frowns

So I continue to fight this evil and keep my vow

To that inside my spirit still good and proud

Of the love for life that keeps me high not down

To know one day very soon I can say out loud

That I finally broke free from this black and white paper glass crown
