During these last few years dear Mom
You have grown more dear to me
We’ve shared many talks; we’ve laughed together
You’ve given me something I never had, and that is self-esteem
I can’t go more than a day or two
Without seeing you or hearing your voice
My love for you has gotten so great
It seems that I have no choice
You have become more than a mom to me
I now consider you my friend

Had a mother as special as you
