The great joys of a daughter,

                            Were soon about to start.

At that moment you were born,

You already had my heart.

With love I shed a tear,

As I held you in my arm. 

Praying to the Lord,

To keep you safe from harm.

With you my little princess,

So much I’d like to share.

Like having tea, playing dolls,

And doing each other’s hair.

You are so very precious,

To me in every way.

The sweetness of your heart,

Forever lights my day.

Nomatter the trials,

That God may put us through.

Remember you’re my daughter,

And I’ll always love you.

You are my one & only,

And I hope that you can see,

That you will be my Little Princess,
