“Famine, starvation, malnutrition
oppression, corruption and favoritism

Hunger and not the Sun
rises in this naked land,
where the spirit of the
dearth, loiters like the
death and feed on life.

Yes, death does seem to be a greedy beast that feeds on life!

This is so unbearably sad, Bhuwan...
Your words are truly heart moving, and powerful.
You speak for those that can not...
Brauwan, you have the most beautiful, caring soul!

Love, Sheila

Moving and passionate words...and the disturbing visual reference of the photo adds to the sting of those words...for the suffering of others should always sting until we can put an end to such unneccessary mistreatment of our fellow travelers in this being. May you find brighter days and softer times,

This hurts Bhuwan...it hurts so bad...
makes me want to do something to help..
The one thing I love so much about you
my friend...is that you write of this
and keep us informed of the ills of the world..
and you do not attack others...You are so special..
God is smiling down on you.....floria

I think poetry is at its most powerful when it forces us to confront some reality or need which we might otherwise ignore. You have done that well here. Dawn

Hi Bhuwan:

Some children were born without light, and they never had and probably will remain so...

They are the walking dead -
Dead to the world
Dead to themselves.

This is sad.
