Poetry is not
an abstract art.
Verses come out
from the heart
of the poets
in a concrete form.
And a great poem
in itself
isn’t great.
It owes its
prominence
to the greatness
of the personality,
which gave it life;
for what we call
a great poem
is only
the concrete
cadence
of their heart
in the form
of verse.
It takes much time, thought, and emotion to make a poem come to life, as you well know - and every ounce of it comes straight from the poet's heart. What a gem this little morsel is, Bhuwan. Thank you.

nice work in this one, still a little ambiguous, its not so easy to put in a few magical words some of the greatest problems that have baffled theology and philosophy to date, but maybe we´re getting there. nevertheless i must say that not all great poets & great poems necessarily determine they are & come from good people, i wish it were so, my nobly born amigo. ps read message i left you. robin
Yours is, indeed, the voice we want to hear, Bhuwan, whose very essence is the mouthpiece for those who, as yet, have no voice of their own, and who it is who inspire you on to greatness on their behalf. I would be content to rest in the shade of your towering rock of magnificence if I could only learn more of what it is that you have experienced - to say nothing of your skills as a poet. I can pay you no tribute high enough, Bhuwan, for being an exceptional human being and person of outstanding compassion and action. On behalf of the weak and vulnerable, I am entirely in your debt. Thank you so much for commenting on my poem "My New Baby Pride". Pride is getting a lot bigger now than what he was in that pic. In a few weeks (4 weeks), he has already grown into the size of my previous cat "Freddy" when Freddy was 10 months old. He jumps around whenever he wakes up 'til the time he goes back to sleep. Very energetic cat indded. Keeps me and hubby very busy.
