Whenever, I see
the Moon,
it reminds me
of the peace.
It shows
how close
but yet far away,
peace is.
"Are we
running away
from the peace,
or is peace
running away from us?"
The truth
is out there.
Darkness enshrouds
the light
as much as light
enshrouds the darkness
in this world.
The world is hungry
it has a tale of its own.
I have heard it said that "hungry bellies have no ears" and, perhaps, no eyes either - because of the emptiness within. Why do we look to listen to the moon and the stars when we ignore the voice of our own world?! This is powerful, Bhuwan; especially as I can almost hear the voice of one of your children asking the question you pose - and that breaks me. They have an ability to cut right to the chase and see what our blinkered adult eyes and minds are dull to acknowledge. Superb poem Bhuwan! Peace in the world, can never come
as long as God is denied, by anyone. We who know Him have
the peace that passes understanding, because it resides
within us where He put it, because we recognize Him!
Those who refuse to recognize Him do not have peace
within and they are the ones that start the wars that
peaceful people have to fight to maintain their freedom.
That's why it is our calling to spread God's ways to
everyone by example. If enough of us did it the world
would change. Sadly not enough care enough to try it!
The moon is forever constant, we neither run from peace nor is it peace that runs from us, instead, it is the handful of "evil" amongst men that keeps charging, with poisoned arrows to instil disruption, chaos and fear amongst the peaceful. The tale will be told.

Yes I see the world as starving for peace, searching and running in circles but never figuring out just what it is they seek. Very deep inutive thoughts I read here. A very good write. Bhuwan, an excellent well-balanced composition clearly illustrating human beings desperate attempt to find solace in something which is uncontrollable. Far too often we fail to realize that from within each and every one of us, we can make a difference if we would only unite, we can find the truth and harmony and embrace it.
