Strapped to a stretcher,
she is breathing in a stained tiny room.
A faceless doctor heaves a scalpel to the light,
he slides his hand around the back of her neck
inches the hand closer, and gasping, heart pounding,
she gathers all the energy, muscles pumped to jump
out of the stretcher.
With virgin tears all over her eyes,
she gave up the fight.
Then the end slowly entrapped her,
enwrapped her, and ultimately enticed her.
She’s cured of all kinds of ailments.
Came another hand, out of nowhere.
Another hand,
she gave her hand to the lifeless hand.
