Love Will Cure This Earth

Poem Artwork

Soul consumed by ceaseless hate
Heart enshrouded by murky pain
All peace efforts landed in vain
Humanity in the abstruse drain

Terror and violence ever prevails
Gone are the days of inert stillness
One man is killing another man
Accelerating game of annihilation

Why people are discriminating people
Is it because blood is thinner than water?
Why are people terminating people?
Is it because they want to be the ruler?

Earth is full of never-ending erratic grief
Feeding peoples selfless illogical belief
War captures the potent center stage
And sets the soul of humanity ablaze

One-day anarchy will smolder the world
This evergreen hate will take its firm hold
Somewhere there is a reason for this doom
Cure this disease soon before we all ruin

Smoke of destruction soar high in the skies
Raised by the fire of gluttony and its aliens
Peace, it seems is a solitude dream in azure
Violence and horror engraved in every core

What will happen to this precious Earth?
If inclination like this continues to plunge
Why are we punishing our mother Earth?
By fighting each other for the blood

Yes, the blood of our brothers shed
And enshrouds the mother Earth
Can any mother be contented?
Bathing with offspring’s blood

Earth is the souvenir of cherubic divinity
Foolish! We’re ever filled with enmity
Yet, still we worship the deity
But discard the god’s saying

Earth is our domicile and not a battlefield
Sprinkling hate only disrupts the love shield
Cease the anger and light the lamp of love
Love will surely cure this gorgeous Earth

Hi Bhuwan,
It's said "Love can concur
all" I have to wonder about that...
For so many people carry
such hatered and bitterness.

If only the whole world could love, what a beautiful
world it would be...

Excellent write...

Good Morning, Bhuwan
I wish your well written poem were so. But some of our kind do not want love. But your poem is still a beginning. Let us hope it continues.

Bhuwan, love your poem. Where will it all end. I fear, only in the end.

Wonderful sentiments Bhuwan, but I fear that few listen to such wisdom. I am sending your name to a friend of mine who enjoys poetry. I have told him about your works and now I will let him see it for himself.

These Black and Blue Red Zone Days by Aberjhani

Just as life during the pandemic was color-coded with different hues representing different levels of danger, life in its aftermath has become shaded in similar ways. As a self-styled “Seeker of Beauty with Beauty,” (borrowing from a quote by W.E.B.
