And today they - a self appointed unrepresentative, faceless elite - still hate the Christians. They try to ban Easter, Christmas, and have banned prayer in school. The Red Cross has removed the cross from their shops and also banned nativity displays from their charity shop windows at Christmas. Edinburgh council has supplanted the phrase 'Happy Christmas' with 'Holiday Greetings' on its cards. Last year it sent out cards with images of a mosque and sikh temple on the front but no church. Ironically, the group sensitivities that these loathsome patronising steps were meant to respect, are the ones who deck out their shops with all that is anathema to this tiresome elite. One day these adversaries will try and hide in the mountains, even scream for the rocks to fall upon them rather than face the wrath of God. Yeah, man's wisdom is so futile, nay, miserably pathetic.
A timely reminder of what man has and keeps trying to do to God - push Him out into the periphery of life. Thanks for this awakening Che'erie.
