God knows your only one man
Of late doing the work of ten men
A hard worker you are
You take pride in all you do
You take those extra steps
Creating new ideas to be put on display
Compliments you deny
At times you are your own worst critic
I look at your face your eyes
I see how tired you are
Your body so exhausted
Rest is what you need sleep just sleep
Knowing theres no time for us tonight
Once again I'm all alone
All I can do is let you rest
And when a new day comes
After your hard day at work
All I wish for is to be held in your arms
Held so close, for you to know
Someone really knows and cares for all the hard work you do
And for you to remember, you are only one man not ten
