Your not the type to boast
Especially about yourself
But people need to know how special you are
A heart of gold you have
You have a caring side shared with many

Your always there to lend an ear to listen to others
Your shoulders so broad for many to cry on
Your witty side comes out when someone feels so down
Just to take that frown and make it a smile
Your always there with prayer for those in pain or sick

A heart of gold doesn't come easy
It's something you earn for the good you do for others
Aside from your writings shared with the world
You've been blessed to have several books
And never received a dime

Only because that big heart of yours makes every book a gift
But your latest book "Thoughts After Dark" holds a special meaning
For anyone to receive this special gift is a treasure
But the real treasure is for two charities that he has chosen
That no money go to him but to make a donation to either "Noah's Ark or Cystic Fibrosis or a favorite charity of your own upon receiving his book

Just another one of the many reasons your heart is made of gold
