Life is Love

Screeching shadows engulf deep valleys

Pain-full clouds holding stones of hail

Chilling winds with icy fingers curling

Earnest prayers empty tomorrow’s hopes.

Lonely broken travelers fight the storm

Neon homeless shelters shout “Jesus Saves”

Satan prays as Mary holds the broken door

Raging, chained demoniac cries “It’s the Lord!”

No sun nor moon and no more stars to guide

Storm rages through the living room of time

All homelessly numb waiting for life to pass

Teeth gnashing, eyes rolling, the virgin waits.

SUDDEN SILENCE screams against dementia

Tiny ray of piercing light splits darkness twain

Two lovers naked lay across the Sony screen

Pure and holy transparently wrapped in LOVE.

Life is love, fear and peace spread-eagle wide

Vivid freeze-frame world slowly comes apart

Storms fury groans and dies a sudden death

Sun of Love brightly seeds fertile open ground.
