Who am I?
I cannot win if on myself I can't rely,
This fast life is slowly partitioning my mind,

Am I blind?
Or can I just not see either of these sides?
Enveloped in this madness I let two worlds collide,

Possibly deaf?
These seared tongues come from what's right and what is left,
With no hearing to accept these lies meant to decept,

Or maybe dumb?
Oh! Though possibly wise I could become,
True knowledge a hum as reality feels numb,

I've lost my senses,
Please save me from this poorly coined "adolescence",
This search meant abroad, they barb wire all these fences,

I'll learn to fly,
They corrupt, but they can't stop my reach for the sky,
My true destination, a long lost friend called "I",

Can I find him in your eyes?
