Discovering the beauty of snow

 Diamonds
millions of diamonds
reflected on the
moonlit snow

Shining
Sparkling
all around me

Treasures
more precious
than diamonds

memory of Christmas Eve,
Walking back from
Midnight Mass, and being
thrilled by the Moonlight sparkling
on the snow...

Yes, it is not only the beauty of temporary snow that shines back at us when we see it sparkling in the night, but the many benefits it brings far beyond.
