A human being has so many skins inside,
covering the depths of the heart. 
Meister Eckhart




BEYOND THE GIVEN SKINS


Our thoughts are beyond boundaries
They serve their own decree
No crucible in foundry
Could cast the needed key


To set these thoughts to order
By reason of the mind
They travel past the borders
Into chaos from sublime


They mingle in our medley
That only "We" can hear
And grant us presence "We" see
Both nebulous and clear

For chaos is but access
For those who crave the sounds
To touch the soul and caress
The bliss that skin surrounds


This essence formed from beauty
Like mists blown by the winds
Appear to hearts who can see
Beyond the given skins

WOW! Anita, this is truly fantastic... both artwork and verses. What an artistic mind you have to be able to visualise and express such things - your concepts are always staggering and you have the immense ability to enable a "dull-eyed" reader such as me to actually "see" with you the fantastic things your mind and eyes dream up.
