Poem Artwork

Gliding from the twilight past to vanish among realities. --Hawthorne

TRASHED!

There's so much that I'd never say
My thoughts are nestled deep
And yet by pen they find a way
To garner voice and keep

For eyes flashing emotion
When curtained by the lids
A seconds raw commotion
Is kidnapped, bound, and hid

By scripted scroll, I bear it all
My hand will tell the tale...
For on the page, my spirits sprawls
As tribulations pale!!

And when I read, all I have felt
Within a day or so
The issue's scorch no longer melts
So in the trash........it goes!!!!

A+
for
All better now!

Great poem; I have experienced the same emotions after writing, and like you did your work, into the trash I throw it. I do,however, feel considerably better After I have written the thoughts down.
Continued success-

when we write, the emotion of composing our thoughts sometimes overshadows the true quality of what we've written ... after i write a poem i don't look at if for quite some time, only then can i be objective enought to know if it is a successful write ...

i'm glad this poem didn't go into the trash ...

:) I am so often tempted myself. Then I save them longer and they apply again.

writing is a good way to let things go...the painful stuff, burn.
Love the word choices you used here.
