You most certainly did, and with your very own touch, aroma, flavour, colours and melody, which make it... as unique as you! "I wrote a love song... one year at a time" - are these not the truly fulfilling ones... composed one day, one moment at a time, into a year, into... when time really doesn't matter, because it's the thrill of each moment, thoroughly dreamed, shared, composed, made real and imbibed together that counts! These lovely words read so well, like a slow ballad almost. Reading things like this reminds me how happy I am and how much I love my husband. Thanks for making me - and many others - smile :o)

You're right--his is intense, but it lacks the softness, the brightness, the harmony of a love song, imho.
I like yours a lot better. It's enjoyable to read, it says a lot and draws the reader in to the ideas presented. The last verse especially is wonderful!
