Melody so soft and tender
Drifting up from fingered keys
Lift my soul into the clear sky
High above the swaying trees

Let the stale air of my life
Vanish on the passing wind
Take my empty soul and fill it
With your lovely song again

Melody so soulful smooth
Rising in the evening air
Let your tune dance 'round my head
Saturate me every where

Print your notes upon my heart
Leave your timing in my mind
Hum for me lest I forget
All the beauty you supply
