Love looks forward, hate looks back, anxiety has eyes all over its head. ~Mignon McLaughlin, The Neurotic's Notebook, 1960 ~~Waiting For The Meltdown~~ Flame is burning down the wick Hours passing, minutes tick Sun is setting in the sky Days and weeks are wisking by Build the damn, to block the flow Hurry to the high plateau Run for safety, seek refuge Detonate the ticking fuse Grab the raft on stormy seas Inoculate the dread disease Distressful, brooding, anxieties Burn down my fragile pieties A The Source
