The old Historical Records state that The ancients who had the nourishment Of the world wished for nothing and Therefore the entire world had enough. They did nothing that should not be done And all things were transformed by themselves; Their stillness was abysmal and the people Were all composed and moderate. . . When the Oneness pervades all around, All affairs and businesses are completed. When the mind gets to be free from all aim, Even sublime spirits submit without any saying.

Calm exudes from your measured statement and the goal is devoutly (sic) to be wished. I'm not sure the record bears out that such a state of serenity ever existed. But, if believing helps it arrive...What we have now is producing only opposites.
