There're so many carings
At the daughters rearing,
Far from that of the sons.
Once they are born,
They must be led and
Guided heedfully:
Pillow their heads,
Driving away their small fears,
Slap their behinds,
Teaching them how
To watch their tongues. . .
If they cannot grasp
How to manage mopping
And brooming practices,
They hardly can cope then
With washing and cooking.
Old lady neighborly said
To one of my girls:
'When you grow up,
You won’t surpass your mom.'
Always,
Deborah
I truly agree.
Glad I never had a daughter to worry about when she took her first date.
