Just got an idea, or ‘Itch’ -

Guess they’re just ‘hep to the jive’ n’ Such?
Next - a hole in the ground, or - Ditch.
You could go - fetch - an ‘Etch-a-Sketch’ -
But, that’s an ‘e’ not ‘i’ - is that a Stretch?
A trade name is - Abercrombie & Fitch -
No word with ‘g’ - next is - Hitch.
Sentimentality, or tastelessness is - Kitsch.
Close spellings are - Lichen and Kitchen!
Band Leader, Miller, was Mitch -
Music was his Niche.
Sorry, no ‘o’ Either -
Next is Pitch ...
Couch grass is called Quitch -
A wealthy person is - Rich.
To sew is to - Stitch -
No ‘t-u-v’ - closest is Vetch!
A Warlock’s counterpart is a - Witch -
No ‘x-y-z’ word - so, To Wit -
