I unfriended you today

And it made me sad

But it was what I needed

For my own sanity.

So many times

You publish things

That will injure another’s

Reputation

And while I believe in

Free speech

There is something very wrong

When you hide behind being

A Christian to injure another

Brother or sister.

Today it just be came one time

Too much.

You said you did not judge the poems,

Only presented….

Maybe so but that and the comments

They brought forth from your followers,

People who look at you as an example

Were a judgement unspoken by you

But silently agreed with.

When you light a match

You have a small flame,

But when you add fuel to

The fire

It grows and grows

Until it is so out of control

It cannot be reduced back to the

Single flame of the match

And it has to burn out

But the damage has

Been done beyond repair.

You my unfriend

Were the match…

And so I unfriended you

To escape the flames

That cause so much pain

To my soul.
