He was my baby brother Or should I say my only brother. My parents finally Got brave enough To let me babysit for him. He sits in his chair At the table as I Try to convince him He must eat his lunch. He looks up at me With those big baby blue eyes And delivers his message Loud and clear… “YOU are not my Mother and You are not my wife And I don’t Have to do anything YOU tell me to do…..” He was six. Hahahaha!! This is such a cute sibling story! I had a baby brother too, so I can relate. I love how you contrast the innocence of his baby blue eyes with his "loud and clear" and rather precocious message!
