I just wanted to say something nice
Something happy
Something warm
Something that will make you smile
Because I love to see your smile

Your smile
Is like a ray of sun
Bursting through a cloudy day
Or a drenching rain
Falling upon parched land
Or like seeing the first bud of spring
After many snow bound days

I just wanted
To say something nice
Because your smile
Always
Brightens my day
