I’ve heard the Master’s symphonies
The geese at midnight call.
The sound of children running
Through the park to catch a ball.
A waterfall in springtime and
A chime at Christmas Mass
But what was most to touch my heart
Was still to come to pass.
The sound of "Happy Birthday"
When the song was meant for me.
The soft sweet strings of violins
So magical and free.
So many sounds brought blessings
But the best was yet to come,
The music deepest to my heart
And this is what it's from...
A certain special lady
Who was born to make me smile,
Who turns my world quite upside down
With some enchanting style.
An angel as musician,
With the sound I find most dear.
The music of her laughter
That I always long to hear.
