She is just doing dishes; it will only take a while.
She’s sorry I must wait for her but I just sit and smile,
And ponder how to tell this dream how much she means to me-
She is just doing dishes but that isn’t what I see.
I’ve waited all my life for such a miracle as this.
She wants to get those dishes done but I go steal a kiss
And quickly get back waiting but I laugh for I don’t mind-
For this one is the happiness so few will ever find.
I know that if I tried to help we’d never get them done.
We just can not be practical when having so much fun.
Whenever I get close to her the world just falls away,
And all our good intentions get put off another day.
It really doesn’t matter if tomorrow never comes-
The music of our heartstrings that we know some angel strums
Keeps playing in the background but it’s all we ever hear-
So even doing dishes is enough to make me tear.
Oh so sweet, John. You know what the sexiest thing is? A man wrapping his arms around a woman doing dishes and running soft kisses up her neck, behind her ear. Where she drops everything and surrenders to the sensation...
