Ultraviolet Eyes

I know that you have wondered why I feel the way I do,
Or why it so transforms my life to only think of you.
The only explanation I am able to surmise
Is I'm the one who looks at you through ultraviolet eyes.

Divinity has granted me this special gift of sight.
I just may be the only one who ever sees you right,
With such angelic splendor through a humble girl disguise,

How can it be that such a gift was ever given me?
A vision that has taken me completely by surprise,

So many things are possible that most will never know,
I get to see the reasons why I'll always love you so.
I can't explain the blindness of so many other guys,
But I'm the one who looks at you through ultraviolet eyes.

If only I could share with you the things I see and feel,
And put you in my heart for all the truth it would reveal.
