I know your candle doesn't burn for me
And yet, there is a place inside my heart
Where things are felt the way they're meant to be,
A place where I don't know that we're apart.
Dismiss this dreamer if that's what you wish,
But I am living deep inside the glow
That reaches from your candle on a dish
In ways that only dreamers ever know.
A perfect flame that sparkles in your eyes,
And softly lights my vision of your face,
My far out dream that somehow never dies,
That I belong beside you in that place.
I do not need to light a flame for you,
My heart's aglow just knowing that you are
Beside that perfect candle burning through
The darkness, you would not believe how far.

Welcome!
The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help.
