Low tide, my spirit slips into the sea
As visions vanish, leaving, taking me
Beyond the space with which I was endowed,
Back home a shadow lingers in the crowd.
All forces in this ocean merge to one
Volcanic power born within the sun,
Explosions blast, revealing what they can
Of this, the evolution of a man.
Once more a mighty wave comes crashing home
And flocks of birds give way to rushing foam
Which soon recedes revealing on the shore
A different man than whom we knew before.
With new found power far beyond my pains
I feel the spirit coursing through my veins.
