What We Feel.

What We Feel.

People don’t want slow-
They don’t want to grow,
Just add water, microwave on high.
Instantly we know
Just how things should go.
Never even bother asking why.

Now what should we do?
Can we think this through?
This is one that will not go away.
I’m in love with you.
You know this is true .
Now you must decide if you will stay.

Calling you my friend,
Messages I send,
Both have wondered where it all would lead.
Was it just pretend?
Does it have to end?
Can this be exactly what we need?

Take a look inside.
Must this be denied?
Can you tell me none of this is real?
I refuse to hide.
You know I have cried.
Let yourself believe in what we feel.

This is the most beautiful
poem I've ever read. Your
talent is awesome.
Words can't express the
beauty of this piece.

"...Can we think this through?..."

And thinking is a strong suite in the human condition ? [smiles] Dr. Phil would disagree. Bravo, John, your usual thoughtful good work.
