Mirror mirror giving back to me
The love that has been flowing from my heart.
The broken pieces all washed out to sea
But you’re returning every single part.
It couldn’t be more beautiful than this-
The unexpected miracle of you.
My hopes and dreams were lost, but then your kiss
Gave back the love and made my life brand new.
To think that you were out there all this time,
My searching heart just needed your direction,
And now it’s stolen- but I love the crime,
You’re guilty of a beautiful reflection.
No vanity to see this beauty now,
To see myself in you and take your hand,
The love that had escaped us found somehow
With someone who at last can understand.
To love yourself, the greatest love of all...
I never thought I’d know what that could mean,
But you appeared and now I’m walking tall
With someone who completes the perfect scene.
Look deep in me and search these loving eyes
For all the wonder we were meant to share,
Let beauty be a magical surprise
And let me show you just how much I care.
