My Turn

Always been a dreamer but I've never been a dream.
Sugar in my coffee with a little bit of cream.
Waking up each morning like it’s just another day.
Never a suspicion that the tide might turn my way.

Suddenly it happened, such a star came shining through.
Could it just be possible that I’m a dream for you?
Feeling all the magic in the poetry you send
May be more than such a broken heart can comprehend.

Looking at your letters it’s impossible to miss
Just how much you love me and you’re longing for my kiss.
Do I even dare to let my lonely heart believe
That my time has come, and all this love I will receive?

As it all appears each day- the promise of your love,
Sure as every day the sun is shining from above,
I can not believe it but my heart has learned to see
All the love I feel for you, you also feel for me.

Did my heart create you from the dreams I always feel?
That’s the way it seems and yet you say that you’re for real.
Learning to believe you as I feel the passion burn...
Dreams come true , they really do, and now it is my turn.
