I’ve heard the lectures given in my field,
How many times per day to wash my hands
To battle germs, but I would rather yield
And share them all with one who understands.
Should I reject the flow of living gifts
My precious love has said are mine to take?
A crowd of who she is that grabs and lifts
My heart, I won’t be making that mistake.
There’s nothing of her body I refuse,
I want to make her precious lives my own,
Who knows but germs may even bring the Muse,
I do not mind she doesn’t come alone.
I do believe that germs are meant to share
And so I will be loving with impunity.
I need to show her just how much I care,
Besides, exposure brings immunity.
John this was a clever and creatively done write...Very Good! Really tho all that hand washing we do on our jobs is quite ridiculous to do at home, and when it comes to true love ahhhhhh we are always swapping a few bugs! ;O)

Excellent..
Who cares if your swap
a few germs if you are
in love?
Loved this!
Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.

I've never looked at germs this way; but I think that when you're in loe with someone, you will love that person, including her germs.....I guess.
