THE LIFE POEM

I don’t know why it’s difficult for some but not for me
To give themselves to wonder, seeking all that life can be.
Although we all must die before we ever can arrive,
To never take the journey is to never be alive.

So please come out from hiding, life’s too short to play that game.
I know that where it really matters we all feel the same.
It’s only all-together that we’ll find a way to build
The world that we all long for where our dreams can be fulfilled.

I’m sure we human beings have a reason for our dreams,
So if things look impossible life isn’t what it seems.
We cling to what divides us for we fear what isn’t real,
It’s time to face each other where we are and what we feel.

Of all the precious treasures that our tiny planet holds
There’s none compares with living, watching as it all unfolds.
It’s time we lose our differences and start with something new,
The need to share with everyone the love I share with you.
