Sometimes you just want to do something extra special for people who do so much for you. I'm thankful to my own special lady that she doesn't mind my offering a tribute to everybody's special lady.
Offering Homage
Perceptions of a dream in human form
Expressed in words that reach in to our hearts,
Greeting the eyes- these feelings are so warm
Giving to me- the wonder she imparts.
Yet yearnings never touched my soul this deep
Before I found the magic that she brings
Each poem can cause my longing heart to weep,
Revealing such a world of precious things.
These treasures of such beauty seldom found
Reach out to me from my computer screen
And make me feel so lucky she’s around...
Night songs that make a weary soul serene.
Don’t need to say- she takes my breath away.
