Let Me Go

I wish that I would die before my dreams,
I’m eulogizing time again each one.
Learning too late each single time it seems
The lesson of the things I should have done.

But all the thoughts arriving here past due,
Beyond redemption, pointless cursing fate-
I learn when there is nothing I can do,
So why should answers come at all- too late?

This helpless feeling haunts me more and more,
So many answers locked inside of me,
But no one hears the banging on the door.
So later on why let me find the key?

If there’s no way to travel back in time
Why show me now the path that should have been?
Convincing me if anything that I’m
A ghost before I even could begin.

Be done with teasing, please just let me go
Before another dream can make me feel
A happiness that I don’t want to know,
And wake to find that none of it was real.

There IS no should haves /could haves..what needed to be done at a precise time..WAS done..I believe we have FREE will BEFORE we incarnate..WE set the scene and the probable scenario for the issuing lifetime...everything is in order..it really is futile bombarding ourself with should haves etc...
" You have done well, good and faithful servant"...please remember that..
Vesna

PS hmm.the next time you love(in THIS lifetime)it shall be perfect!!..You are ready!...:)

John,

Your writing always "sends me"... I feel your every word - I especially feel your pain in the last verse. So well done.

"Be done with teasing, please just let me go
Before another dream can make me feel" -----You know how to smack the he double L out of a reader don't ya?!!!

Amazing how you open the senses. Pat yourself on the back. This is pure perfection. Incredible. You bled emotions ---just bluntly.

Thank YOU,
Teresa Emilie

I wish that my dreams would die before I do
hoping for the love that I dreamt was true
but inside of me I know not fate
as I arrived to love, a life time too late.

Dreamy love is easy, we can create it in whatever form we wish it to appear. So lays the danger in the unknown.
