I Wish

My love, I wish before our lives are through
That I will get to spend some time with you.
For I have loved you more than words can say,
While words were all that I could send your way.

Oh there were tokens, gems for you to wear-
Reminding you, if only I was there
To dedicate to you with all my powers
The building of a life we could call ours.

So many things it seems that ought to be.
I even feel your children needing me.
You precious mother doing what you can
With every right to find a loving man.

Well, you have found him- listen to him now
Just wishing he could be with you somehow.
But up against that barrier of fate-
A time for us, if there’s to be- must wait.

For me it’s easy- you whom I adore
Are worth to me a lifetime waiting for.
But you, I know, should never be alone,
While all that I can ever do is phone.

But oh those moments, living in your voice,
The sound that makes my very soul rejoice.
My wish is granted when you speak my name.
But love must wish for you to know the same.

So I must wish against the way I feel.
But more than wish for you, I’ll even kneel
And pray some other man will come to know
What should be mine if it can not be so.

JOHN! I hope you realize that such words of devotion ( the last stanza)and UNCONDITIONAL Love were and can be uttered ONLY by a Twin Flame...You have obviously been communing with your Beloved..you have done so on this level and you are continually doing so on the other levels..You are truly living "THe Breath"..which connects the Two of you..I am so blessed in recognizing a kindred soul in You..thankyou for these beautiful poems as they assist me in being persistent in my search etc. You truly are an elightened soul!
