I wear you like glasses,
And I see a world more beautiful
Than I could have imagined
Until you.
I'm sorry, I fog you.
But you are only removed for a brief moment so, as a mother's hand lands on her newborn, with a special cloth I can caress you just to make things clear again.
How can a person be the lens
Through which another views life?
I'm only beginning to know.
But I know life is beautiful to me
Not because I'm looking through you,
But because always, always I am seeing you.
