Creatures of habit we wander the earth,
lost in the darkness of endless time,
secrets locked beyond touch since birth
instinctively inquisitive in our prime.

Never learning as our history repeats,
harnessed by quest of power and greed
expediently shrouding the salvage beast,
while innocently portraying a righteous deed.

We strive for eternal peace and love,
proclaiming free humanitarian rights
in the name of The Almighty above,
we kill each other in endless fights.

Endless mortal conflict inflicting maim
creates a world where we live without peace
savage beings, can we not be tamed,
will love and peace ever gain a new lease?

As long as greed triumphs over love,
mankind is destine to unending war
hostility triumphs killing the white dove
forever shedding tears, locking the tranquil door.
